We, The Chosen Ones® (WTCO) is the invitation-only jury of the FFTG Awards Film Fest®. This is not a committee of strangers; it is a council of architects composed of the fest’s own alumni, filmmakers, nominees, and winners whose work has already resonated within our ecosystem.
I. ALUMNI INTEGRITY
The selection for WTCO® is a process of deep curation. Each year, from a highly competitive pool of over 100 eligible filmmakers (drawn from the prior year’s Official Selections), a final council of only six to nine members is invited to serve. This exclusivity ensures that the jury brings a diverse range of global perspectives and a proven mastery of craft to the vetting process. We believe that those whose work has already been seen and recognized are the most qualified to surface the next generation of storytelling.
II. THE GUARANTEED FULL EVALUATION
Trust is the bedrock of the FFTG Awards Film Fest®. We provide a definitive guarantee to every storyteller: Every film and screenplay submitted is watched or read in its entirety. This is a role of high responsibility, ensuring that no narrative is overlooked and every voice is heard.
III. THE FIRST SOURCE OF ENTRY
WTCO® members serve as the primary architects of the fest. Through their focused reviews and notes, they serve as the first source of entry, determining which projects rise to become Official Selections. To ensure a rigorous evaluation, submissions are assigned to specific jurors who engage deeply and only with the projects allocated to them.
IV. FINAL DETERMINATIONS
Once selections are locked, FFTG management carries the work forward to finalize nominations and awards. These results are directly informed by the body of jury reviews, notes, and evaluations. This process ensures that every individual talent, from Directing to Sound Design, is recognized based on peer-level insight.
