Stefano Da Frè, an AFI-award winning Italian-American film director and screenwriter, has showcased his work on global platforms including NBC Universal, MSNBC, Apple TV, and The Roku Channel. His films have premiered at renowned festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival, NBC’s Meet-The-Press Film Festival in collaboration with the American Film Institute (AFI), and the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival.

His film “The Day I Had To Grow Up” won the Top FFTG Spirit Award and The Best Title award at the 2021 FFTG Awards, while “Stolen Dough” achieved several nominations and awards at the 2023 edition.

Stefano was granted a filmmaking grant by The Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum, supported by the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the Italian Sons and Daughters of America (ISDA), and AGBO for his notable work on “Stolen Dough.” He is currently in post-production for his feature film “A Dream Beyond The Dark,” featuring Clara McGregor from FX’s American Horror Story and Jacopo Rampini from Netflix’s The Medicis. He is the founder of Rosso Films International, a production company committed to delivering compelling cinematic experiences.

Stefano Da Frè’s dedication to the art of filmmaking and his notable achievements in the industry have led to his selection as an official jury member for the 2024 FFTG Film Festival.
