Serkan Aktaş, born on December 4, 1989, in Istanbul, is an award-winning independent filmmaker globally recognized for his contributions to the genre of fantasy and science fiction cinema. He holds degrees from Anadolu University in Business Administration and Dokuz Eylül University in English Mathematics. Aktaş also earned a Master’s and a Doctorate in Cinema-TV from Istanbul Beykent University. His notable works include short films like “Lucky Coin!” and “The Death Ox”, which have been acclaimed in film festivals around the world.
