Manisha Gupta is an internationally recognized screenwriter, filmmaker, animator, lyricist, and IPR professional based in New Delhi, India. She transitioned from a career in science, math, and computers to the creative arts, where she has achieved significant success. Manisha has written 11 short screenplays and numerous feature loglines, amassing numerous accolades worldwide. She has also directed 37 short films, including animations.

Her screenplay “PROGRAM To KILL…??” has garnered awards from international film festivals, including being a semi-finalist at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2023.

Manisha holds an M.Sc. in Math with Computer Programming, topped her university, and has a diploma in Bharatanatyam. She is a seasoned IPR professional with 20 years of experience, having consulted for the United Nations on protecting intellectual property rights and traditional knowledge. Additionally, she is a trained mediator and motivational speaker, engaging on various national and international platforms on topics ranging from IPRs to entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, Manisha is an artist; her exhibitions include innovative paintings on Japan during the “Indo-Japan Friendship Year-2007,” endorsed by the Japanese Embassy. She writes poetry in Hindi and English and has been a columnist and contributor to several prominent publications. Manisha has also founded LOGIHQ and the “liHfe” International Happiness Film Festival.
