Cecilia Petrujno

Cecilia E. Petrujno is an award-winning filmmaker and editor with more than two decades of experience across film, television, and digital media. A graduate of Buenos Aires Comunicación (BAC) with a degree in Film and TV Production and Direction, she began her career as a producer and screenwriter before transitioning into editing and directing — disciplines that have since shaped her distinctive voice.
Her 2022 short film Three Wishes. One Truth — which she wrote, directed, edited, and produced — earned multiple national and international awards. It was officially declared of Cultural Interest and recognized for promoting the rights of women, children, and adolescents by the Buenos Aires City Legislature.
At the FFTG Awards Film Fest 2024, Cecilia won Best Editing for A Long Life to Memories — a landmark film that went on to become the most awarded title with eight wins and four nominations in FFTG Awards so far, including Best Feature Film and multiple nominations across major categories.
Beyond her independent projects, Cecilia works as an editor at Warner Bros. Discovery, while continuing to develop original films. She is also an active member of the Argentine Association of Audiovisual Editors (SAE), the country’s first organization uniting professional editors.
In 2025, Cecilia joins the FFTG Awards Grand Jury as part of We, The Chosen Ones, an exclusive, invitation-only collective of past FFTG selections, nominees, and winners entrusted with shaping each edition’s official slate.
