In “This Is An Invitation” I examine the possibilities for women in today’s society to shape their lives freely. Using a performative videocollage, I would like to show the contradicting demands that women and their bodies are confronted with nowadays, especially through popular cultural media. Following the “cultural hacking” I make use of popular statements on the topic, but undermine them by connecting them to one another in a new way.
