Terrarium

My first microfilm was a 72-second film, made within 72 hours to a set theme, for a film competition. I loved the challenge of conceptualizing, writing, shooting and editing a film with such tight restrictions, but without a budget or crew, my first attempt fell short of my expectations.

Since then, I’ve fallen in love with the format of microfilms, and how powerful stories and messages can be conveyed in a matter of seconds, if done effectively. Although this particular film took more than 72 hours to produce, I’m eager to continue this way of challenging myself. I firmly believe that we don’t need much, money or time, to create something incredible.
