Satori is a poetic and meditative portrait of a prisoner who discovers inner freedom within the confines of captivity. Clinging to a drawing from his daughter, he endures isolation and torment, sustained only by the hope of one day seeing her again. But as that hope begins to fade, he is confronted with a harrowing truth: he will never be free. In surrendering to this reality, he undergoes a sudden and profound awakening – a spiritual liberation known as Satori.
