Nurhan Acun invites people into a world he has created with his own hands. He was born from the troubled union of an Armenian mother and a Turkish father. The life of Nurhan Acun, who says his father kidnapped his mother at gunpoint and married her, was shaped amidst the conflicts between Muslims and non-Muslims in Turkey, in rough terrain marked by the hardships he experienced. His relationships with those around him and the people he fell in love with have shaped his identity. He has dedicated himself to creating a new world, a new faith beyond religions and ethnic identities. Although he studied interior design, he had no desire to pursue the profession. After a while, various accidents opened completely different doors for him. He transported symbols of past civilizations and Anatolian cultures to the present day through the sculptures, earrings and necklaces he created. As people got to know Acun, they had the opportunity to explore this new world. His life showed how love, kindness and forgiveness can change the world.
