Mamadou is a Senegalese young man living in Turin working as a cabu-cabu, a kind of abusive taxi driver used exclusively by the African community. Sometimes Mamadou is forced to accept extra work for dangerous friends. One day, he has to deliver a suspect bag across the city, but is distracted by the sight of Aaida, a beautiful girl of Nigerian origin. Meeting the looks of the two young men will kick off a series of encounters and confrontations with other people who will get on the yellow-gold taxi of Mamadou by delaying the delivery of the bag. When the day is over, Mamadou will lose his beloved taxi and go home on foot with Ernesto, a new friend, and perhaps with a future appointment with Aaida.
