In the late 60s a group of artists decides to settle in a village in the ‘darkest-deepest’ Spain. Today only Felix Cuadrado Lomas still remains there, determined to reflect the landscape which surrounds him: the lands built by those who work on them.

Director's Statement
“The title of Constructed Lands is based on the fact that they are presented in nature elaborated and built as a creation of the hand of man, and in the artistic work they are also recreated, interpreted and built by the hand of the author, thus emerging a symbiosis between man and the environment. I believe that man is formed by the influence of the landscape that surrounds him and, at the same time, he modifies, identifying himself with the piece of land where he lives and works, acquiring the necessary need to love it, take care of it and defend it from all internal and external aggression. ”
