Shaheed Woods

Shaheed K. Woods is an American actor, writer and director from Jersey City, New Jersey. Drawn to performance from an early age, he began his creative journey in stand-up comedy before moving into voice work, filmmaking and stage direction.

One of his early film projects, Life! Camera Action…, went on to receive multiple awards across film festivals, earning Woods several Best Actor recognitions. He later appeared in the feature film Midnight Delight, further expanding his presence in independent cinema.

His passion for storytelling has remained central to his work, leading him to direct stage productions and develop projects across film and theater. Beyond acting and directing, Woods has also explored spoken word and music, releasing an album titled Battlecry under the moniker “The Beacon of Light.”

He has appeared in international productions including the Bollywood action film A Gentleman, produced by Fox Star Studios, and continues to work both in front of and behind the camera while developing new creative projects.
