A private onboarding experience for the 6th Edition council.
Your film is how you first arrived in the FFTG room. Your work brought you here. We watched. We listened. That is the reason you are sitting on the council this year.
You are not here by accident. Each year, only a small number of filmmakers are invited into We, The Chosen Ones® from a much larger circle of eligible FFTG alumni.
Something in your work, journey, presence, or instinct stood apart. Your voice now helps shape what enters next.
It adds to your creative title, your professional record, your credibility, your visibility, and your place inside a larger international festival conversation.
Rooted in destiny, carried by instinct, and shaped by what you choose to do with it.
After the orientation conversation with the Festival Director, this page is where we lock your details, prepare your council profile, complete the NDA, and begin setting up your FilmFreeway jury access after signature.
Before anything else, please submit these details. This is what triggers your NDA.
Once we receive this, the NDA will be sent through DocuSign. Once signed, your onboarding becomes official and your FilmFreeway jury access begins activating.
Approve the profile text or send corrections. Nothing goes live until it rings true.
Up to four images with style, presence, attitude, confidence, and high resolution.
One short vertical WTCO® message, used individually and inside the collective intercut.
For reference, you can see how past WTCO® jury members have been presented before. This is only a reference. The 6th Edition presentation may evolve further.
View Past WTCO® ArchiveSolomon Fixon-Owoo Jr. is a Ghanaian actor, writer, director, and theatre practitioner working out of Accra. He played Joe Pee in The Funeral of Kwadae, the 2025 feature directed by Nana Obiri-Yeboah that premiered at AFRIFF and entered the FFTG Awards Film Fest selection the same year. His turn as Gladstone in Letters to Goddo earned him a 2024 Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, placing him in the company of the continent's most recognised performances of the year. Earlier work in Lucky drew critical attention for its precision and stillness. In 2026 he stepped behind the camera as writer-director of Ashes of Accra, a crime drama now travelling the international festival circuit. He has built his craft across more than a decade of theatre, television, and film, and continues to speak publicly for the future of Ghanaian cinema.
We will choose the one that lands strongest for the WTCO® page and may use the others across the festival cycle.
This video is part of the official WTCO® rollout. We use this format across the council so each video can stand on its own and also work inside one collective WTCO® presentation. Treat it like a clean personal video message, not a formal speech.
Hello, my name is Solomon Fixon-Owoo Jr., from Ghana.
I am part of We, The Chosen Ones®.
The Grand Jury for the 6th Edition of FFTG Awards Film Fest.
This is an international digital film festival focused on story, not scale.
Each of us brings a different voice, background, and perspective.
Together, we watch, score, and celebrate stories from around the world.
Proud to be part of this journey.
You will review titles assigned to your roster through the FilmFreeway backend. The process is fully digital. You can review at your own pace within the active jury window.
There are no live deliberations. No group calls are required. Your role is to watch, respond, score, and complete your assigned reviews before the review window closes.
The jury review window remains open until 15 days after the Final Submission Deadline closes in October.
After the review window closes, reviews are considered final for decision-making. You may still be able to view your reviews in FilmFreeway, and some edit options may appear visible depending on the platform interface.
Any late edits, resubmissions, or changes after the review window closes will not be counted toward the official jury result.
Published jury profile, council identity, and visibility across the 6th Edition rollout.
Waiver-free. No restrictions on whom you share them with. The council is built on trust, not firewalls.
If your page needs claiming, updating, or sorting, tell us. You own this space. Make it look the way the world should see it.
These spaces are not created for FFTG to amplify itself. They exist to carry films, filmmakers, ideas, and voices further. If something connects with your journey, use it. If it does not, leave it alone.
Editorial pieces and visual essays around films, filmmakers, festivals, storytelling, recognition, access, and the changing creative world.
Review JournalShort audio-led reflections and conversations around FFTG, filmmaking, digital festivals, recognition, and creative culture.
Film and filmmaker spotlight features that present selected works, creators, journeys, and context with more depth.
If it belongs to your journey, carry it. That is how a creative record builds.
